What’s the Fresh Baby Bites secret?
Each week we visit the Farmer’s Markets in search of the freshest, local, organic ingredients. Then, on Monday’s we whip up our delicious blends in the kitchen and deliver right to your doorstep. Always fresh, never frozen! Taste the difference for yourself.
Why should I feed my baby spices?
Research has proven that expanding your childs’ palette at a young age will help to tickle their taste buds. We think that introducing spices such as cinnamon & turmeric and herbs like sage & basil after 6 months is key to getting baby on board with a variety of flavor profiles. What if I don’t want spices/grains/certain fruits or veggies in my bundle?
Simply specify your preferences when placing your order, or send us a note with specifics. We’re happy to accommodate your requests!
How often does the menu change?
The menu changes each and every week, based on what’s in season. It’s like a CSA for your baby! However, substitutes are sometimes necessary since we work directly with the farmers to use the freshest ingredients.
What is your delivery area?
We currently deliver to San Francisco, Marin, and the Peninsula.
Do you only deliver to personal residences?
No, we also deliver to offices or you can pick up your order at 9 locations around the Bay Area, including: Square Meals, Peekadoodle, Sprout, Recess, DayOne in San Francisco and DayOne in Palo Alto, or Baby World in San Rafael or San Bruno.
Do I need to be home to receive the delivery?
No, as long as you leave a cooler outside and have a secure place to store the food until your return.
How do I place my order?
You can always place your order online or give us a ring and we’re happy to take your order over the phone.
What are the size options for your containers?
We offer two options, a 4oz BPA free container or an 8oz glass mason jar. Both are freezer safe and re-usable.
Are your containers BPA free?
Yes, most definitely! Our containers are BPA free, recyclable, reusable, or returnable to us.
How do the glass jars work?
These Ball Mason Glass Jars are freezer safe, not a claim most jars can make. Therefore, we need to collect a $1 deposit per jar, which is fully refundable when you return the jars.
How do I return the jars?
Simply leave them out on your next delivery date for a credit or return them to one of our pick up locations. Be sure to include your name on the bag so that we know how to assign credit.
