How to store Fresh Baby Bites:
Be sure to store your food in the refrigerator, or freeze immediately to preserve those yummy fresh flavors. We know you’re busy and that’s why we’ve added a freeze by date, right on the container. And don’t forget to sneak a taste, it’s yummy! When you are finished with the food, the containers can be re-used to hold on-the go snacks, art supplies etc., or recycled.
How to prepare Fresh Baby Bites:
Fresh Baby Bites are ready to enjoy, however warming the food will bring out the yummy flavors. To heat the fresh food, place the open container in a shallow bowl of hot water. Stir until evenly heated. Alternatively, our containers are BPA-free and microwave safe. To heat, open the container and microwave for 30 seconds. Be sure to stir and test before serving to ensure that there are no hot spots. To keep food pure, you should not feed your baby from the container and then re-store. For smaller serving sizes transfer the desired quantity to a feeding bowl and return the remaining to the refrigerator – use within two days of opening.
When using a frozen container, we recommend defrosting in the refrigerator overnight. If you are planning to use a microwave to defrost, pop the puree out of the tub, transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1-2 minutes.
How to feed to your baby:
Our 4 oz. containers will give your little ones just getting started on solid foods 2-3 servings. As your child continues to grow, they will start to enjoy 2 to 4 ounces per meal. If your baby is more experienced with solid foods you can get creative and blend these purees with quinoa, cereal, grains, yogurt, proteins, etc.
